For actually being weedless, it's a wash. The blade designs are both focused on not allowing weeds to wrap the prop. The three blade has less blades to grab weeds, but the blades are more exposed since there are 3 blades spaced on the hub instead of four.
As for performance, the four blade tends to grab more water, making it better for grip. The three blade will get you on step faster, but doesn't have the same grip for corners, coming out of the hole, etc.
