The 17 pitch 4 blade will load similar to the 19 pitch 3 blade. It would be helpful to know what RPM your getting at WOT with the 3 blade first before purchase. Feel free to call us at 360-299-8266 to discuss further.

I have a 2005 Glastron GS249, that’s aft heavy and total weight about 5500 lbs.
I believe my current prop is stock 14.5 x 19, but haven’t pulled it off to look at stamp. Manual says WOT is 4400-4800, but I’ve never tried to test that.
I want to upgrade prop, and based on research thinking a stainless 4blade with about 17 pitch and close to same diameter would work. I boat in the San Juan Islands and I don’t care about top speed. I just want to plane quicker, be able to stay on plane easier, and control in swells, confused seas.
What props do you recommend? Looking at PTZ4 but open to recommendations.
