Yes, dropping down one size will help with your hole shot. One size will increase your RPM's by 200-250 estimated.
Would going from f4 props to f3 help my heavy 2665 commodore plane easier
Hello, I have a 2002 regal 2665 commodore with a vp 5.7 gxi. It is also equipped with a gen set. The boat currently has f4 props on it. Once i have 4 or more people on the boat it is extremely difficult to get the boat on plane. With just 2 people is still slow to plane. At 3600 rpm boat is traveling at 27.6 mph. If i go to a set of f3 would it help on getting on plane easier? How much higher would the rpms be at the same cruising speed?(estimate). Thank you
