I have a Suzuki 20hp "stock prop" on 1436 Tracker
BS Pro Aluminum Propeller Suzuki 8-20 HP
I have a Suzuki 2022 DF 20A "20hp" on a Tracker 1436. I have the stock prop on the motor and it does ok, but I'm hitting max rpm's at 3/4 throttle with me and gear (170lb person + 100lb gear). I normal fish by myself in the inter coastal, and 30 mile trips are a normal day. I'm thinking about going up in prop pitch to get the rpm's down and having the extra speed will help too. What would you recommend?

Thank you for the question. We would recommend going up in pitch 1-2 inches above your current pitch. This will reduce your RPM's a few hundred. Your Suzuki DF20A max revs should be between 5300 and 6300.
