The easiest answer is to measure the shaft coming out of the transmission inside the hull. If you're hauled, measure the diameter of the shaft between the hull and cutless bearing, or the cutless bearing and forward face of the prop hub. Depending on the age and source of the boat it may be metric, if you can get a measurement and it doesn't make sense we can convert dimensions as necessary.
